Joint Holy Week services with Castlehill Parish Church

Thursday 6th April at 7pm, St Leonard's.

A service for Maundy Thursday with a celebration of the Lord's Supper and also The Tenebrae Vigil at the close of worship. Tenebrae is the Latin word for "darkness" or "shadows". The Tenebrae Vigil depicts through scripture readings and the extinguishing of candles, the flight of the disciples and the approaching crucifixion. Tenebrae is moving, poignant and powerful.
